Q: What is a RAL (Refund Anticipation Loan)?

A RAL is when you
receive a loan from our banks based upon the anticipated amount
of your refund. Once the IRS makes the deposit of the
taxpayer(s) refund to the bank, the loan is automatically paid
off.
Q: If I request a RAL how long will it take to get my client(s) refund?

The turnaround time on RAL(s) is generally 24-48 hours.
Q: What do I have to do for my client to get a RAL?

Complete a RAL application and submit it to our bank for processing.
Q: What are the benefits of offering QIK Funds products?

You will have the
ability to have all of your fees directly withheld from the tax
payer(s) return. The client can have their return prepared,
electronically filed, and completely processes with no up
front/out of pocket expense. This is a great way to create
new business and increase your customer base. You can also
get additional revenue from the new business you will bring in
by offering this product, as well as create additional revenue
from your current customers.
Q: How much are the bank fees for Bank Products?

The QIK Funds fee
for a check is $28.95. The RAL fee varies from $37 to $102
depending on the refund amount.

(It takes fewer days if you transmit returns before the
weekly drain.)

Q: When I go to install TaxVision there are multiple installation options. Which one is right for me?

We have included installation instructions for a Stand Alone
setup, Network Server setup, Network Workstation setup, and
Workstation And Server setup. Read the descriptions below to
select the appropriate installation(s) for your situation.

Stand Alone � Installs all of the program files on your
computer. Other people in your office will not have access
to your data.

Server Install � Allows you to install the program on a
server computer. If you install using this option, the
program will not run from the server, but from each
individual workstation.

Workstation Install � Must be installed AFTER installing the
program on the server. With a workstation setup in your
office everyone will have access to the same data on the
server.

Workstation And Server Install � Allows you to install the
program with all the server components on one computer and
also run the program on the same computer. This type of
setup will usually be used in a peer-to-peer network
situation.
